God knows us intimately, and calls us by name. C3.3: Heaven on Earth Subject: The 2nd & 3rd Petitions Themes: The Earthly kingdom is presently under the rule of a dark prince. God's will is done without our asking; we ask that it may be done among us. C3.4: Living for Today (Tomorrow has Worries of its Own) Subject: The 4th Petition Themes: God makes it rain on both the evil and the good. We trust God to provide for our every need. C3.5: Who Owes Who? Subject: The 5th Petition Themes: The gift of forgiveness is to be extended to others who need it. We ask God to give us what we may not want: the ability to forgive.
